Course

This year features a new course!   The start/finish line will be at the Amphitheater and will be one big loop, no back tracking this year.   This is a cross country obstacle course race.   You will be running on both single track trails and wider grassy trails, up and down hills, and encountering multiple obstacles along the way.  Some of this years obstacles include the 12foot wall, the mud pits, fire jump, tube crawl, etc.  

  You do NOT have to be a star athlete to enjoy this challenge. Although some of the obstacles... look intimidating, they are designed and built for the average Joe to conquer. You are not required to run, and you may skip any obstacle you wish. However, we encourage you to try everything! Prepare to get wet, muddy, and have a whole lot of FUN!

You can pre-register for one of four waves, starting 10 minutes apart, this will alleviate most congestion at the obstacles. We also have a new course this year, it will start and finish near the soccer fields and bridge to 4H Camp Rd. The course is one giant loop.

The Start/Finish line will be a blast, even for those not actually running the race! We will have a bouncy castle for the kids, several large machines and trucks on display, and multiple local businesses will have booths set up to display their talents and meet the public! If you are interested in having a booth for your business just contact any local Realtor!

All proceeds from this event will be split 50/50 between the Barboursvile Community Wellness Council and the Barboursville Volunteer Fire Department.
