Paranormal Pet Costume Contest ONLY: $10

You must REGISTER by 10am on 10/23 to receive The Running Dead 5k t-shirt! Extra t-shirts will be available on race-day for $10, on a first come-first serve basis!! 

Race day packet pick-up and registration will take place at the shelter by the lake, beginning at 5:30pm.

***Race in non-refundable.***

*First Place will receive a hand painted portrait of their pet

*Second & Third Place will receive specialized bark bags.

*free of charge if participant is already signed up for the race, those solely interested in the pet contest do not need to enlist in the race but will pay a $10.00 contest entry fee for pet at Picnic Shelter #9.

Charity Information

ALL proceeds will benefit Goodwill's Coats for Kids program! Each year, we raise money to purchase brand new coats, gloves and hats for children in need, in our local communities that we serve. Through our 2017 Coats for Kids program, we were able to purchase and deliver 141 BRAND NEW coats (gloves & hats) to children who were in desperate need. We were also able to deliver 48 pairs of brand new shoes.

The 5th Annual Running Dead 5k is set to plague Barboursville Park on Friday evening, October 26th. The Running Dead 5k is a unique after dark road race that is sure to be the most thrilling 5K experience for all humans! Come on out and join us for an evening of FUN...and watch out for the ZOMBIES!!!!!!

Beyond that, the Running Dead 5K is a great way for the community to get to know Goodwill's mission and learn more about all of our services.
