Race day Registration (packet pick-up): $25

You must REGISTER by 10am on 10/15 to receive The Running Dead 5k t-shirt! Extra t-shirts will be available on race-day for $10, on a first come-first serve basis!! 

Race day packet pick-up and registration will take place at the shelter by the lake, beginning at 6:00pm.

Charity Information

Who says zombies are hostile to humanity? At Goodwill, we believe that preparation ensures the best chance of survival. As such, your sponsorship will ensure that 100% of the proceeds go toward Goodwill’s  Career Experience Opportunity Summit which works with students with disabilities, aged 14-21, in the four-day program. This program teaches skills in interviewing, communication, team building, social and computer skills. The theme of the summit is “Bringing Your ‘A’ Game to Work” and focuses on attitude, appearance, ambition, accountability, acceptance and appreciation. Through your generous donations and participation, we will be able to provide essential skills for employment to area disabled and or disadvantaged youth.

The 6th Annual Walking Dead & Zombie Run 5K is set to plague Barboursville Park on Saturday evening, October 19th. The Walking Dead & Zombie Run 5K is a unique after dark road race that is sure to be the most thrilling 5K experience for all humans! Come on out and join us for an evening of FUN...and watch out for the ZOMBIES!!!!!!

Beyond that, the Walking Dead & Zombie Run 5K is a great way for the community to get to know Goodwill's mission and learn more about all of our services.
