Course

It's up to all of us to slow the spread of COVID-19. Everyone, including young and healthy people, should avoid large gatherings during this time. Due to this we are not holding our regular race at the Highlands on April 18.  

We are going to hold our version of a virtual 5k.  If you are like me, then getting outside for your daily run is all that is keeping you sane while being kept home with the kids!!

We encourage you to use social distancing, run or walk with your family members or take it solo.  Choose your own 5k loop.  That's 3.1 miles!  Between now and April 18 work to get your best time and then upload your time on our race platform.

No fee for virtual race.

Please consider purchasing a race tshirt to help us continue to promote happy healthy childhoods and provide vital support to our local CASA program.  T shirts can be purchased from this website link.

Age Groups

Awards

5K Awards- For age group winners, we will give big shout outs over our social media markets.  But no physical awards this year.

We will have trophies for our:

• Top 3 overall male and female runners
• Top 3 overall male and female walkers

However trophies will not be delivered until the COVID19 restrictions have been lifted. 

Charity Information

The Mission of CASA is to promote and support quality volunteer representation for abused and neglected children in the state foster care system, in order to provide each child with a safe permanent nurturing home. It is our goal to educate the community regarding its responsibility for abused and neglected children and to see to the best interests of the children we serve.
