River Cities Harvest is a food rescue and redistribution agency committed to ending hunger and food insecurity in Boyd, Greenup, and Lawrence County KY and Lawrence County OH. Proceeds: River Cities Harvest rescues food from retail grocery stores, restaurants, and farms to help supplement area pantries, community soup kitchens and shelters with surplus food to help these entities combat hunger in their service areas. We use our wholesale purchasing power to buy food in bulk to help support our partner agencies. Our trucks run 5 days a week to ensure that no food goes to waste and that we get critical resources into the hands of those that need it most.
