Age Groups

Female: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 and over.

Male: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 and over.

Charity Information

This race is hosted by the Princeton Community Hospital Volunteer Association. It is the sole fundraiser for our SIDS Awareness / Safe Sleep Sack Program. All funds raised by this event are used to purchase Safe Sleep Sacks to be given to every newborn baby delivered at Princeton Community Hospital. We also educate mothers of new born babies on the dangers and reality of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome), and encourage them to incorporate the use of the Safe Sleep Sack in their care of their babies. Since the inception of this program a little over a year ago, we have given out over 900 Safe Sleep Sacks – now that’s a lot of babies!!

More Information

Walkers and runners of all ages are welcome to participate anytime on their own over the two-week period. You may walk/run in any location as long as you cover the 3.1-mile distance. Runners that wish to have their time recorded have the option to run the regular 3.1-mile course at your own risk from Princeton Community Hospital through Princeton City Park.
