Course

Two laps on Marshall University's campus beginning and ending on the Plaza of the Student Center near the Memorial Fountain. Participants will remain within the parameters of 16th and 20th Streets and 3rd and 5th Avenues.

Entry Fees

$15 to pre-register on or before October 1st; T-shirt included

$25 day of the event; registration opens at 7:30 am and closes at 8:45 am

• Current MU students and youth ages 17 & under are eligible for a 25% discount when registering online prior to October 1st. Use Promo Code: STAMPEDE
• Groups of 10 or more, $5 discount per person if registered online before October 1st.
• Online registration closes at 6:00 a.m. on Friday, October 8th. After this time participants will register in-person the morning of the event with cash or check made payable to MUAA.

Additional T-Shirts in adult sizes up to 2X will be available for purchase at the event for $10 each.

Charity Information

Proceeds from the Homecoming 5K Stampede benefit the Marshall University Alumni Association's annual events and scholarships endowment fund.

Make plans to attend the MUAA Homecoming Tailgate Party at 11 AM on the space between the East side of The Joan and Indoor Athletic Complex, behind Wendy's on 5th Ave. All you can eat for $10. Enjoy appearances by MU President, Dr. Jerry Gilbert, the MU Marching Thunder, members of the Young Thundering Herd, and of course, everyone's favorite mascot, MARCO.
