Run for the Roar, Future Lions Summit Elementary/Ponderosa Elementary 5k run/walk

Across from the Boyd County High School next to the soccer field. - Cannonsburg, KY

Course

Paved, mostly flat with a couple small inclines. Runs through residential area. Out and back. Water stations at half way and finish Refreshments provided Kids run @ 3:00pm Medals awarded directly after finiish Race begins at 3:15pm Awards ceremony begins at 4:15 pm Course closes at 4:15

Entry Fees

$10 for children 13 and under (must be pre-registered to receive a tshirt and participation medal) No race day registration for 13 and under participating in the fun run. $20 early entries (guaranteed a tshirt) $25 race day *$20 fee for "shadow runners". You may purchase a t-shirt to show your support to Summit Elementary and Ponderosa Elementary but do not have to participate in the event.

Age Groups

Five year age groups from 14+ Kids fun run will begin at 3pm (all pre-registered kids 13 and under will receive a tshirt and participation medal) Kids pre-registered for the kids fun run may participate in the main race at no additional cost. Offical start time of race 3:15pm All pre-registered (by March 30th) runners/walkers/shadow runners will be guaranteed an event t-shirt in their requested size. Computerized timing services and music Results posted to tristateracer.com Pictures will be posted as well.

Awards

5 year age divisions beginning at 14-80+ Medals to 1st and 2nd male/female in each age group. Trophy to top overall male and female Medal to all pre-registered kids 13 and under. Awesome Door prizes including Thirty One products, Maid to Sparkle, Laser Aesthetics,

Race day registration starts at 2pm. The proceeds from this event will be used to fund a new playground for Summit Elementary and to support the Ponderosa PTA. The proceeds will be spit 50/50. Computerized timing and results provided by Tri-state Racer Timing Services SVT Martial Arts and Fitness will be there. Packet pickup (so you don't stand in line before the race) is April 13th 5-7pm at KYOVA Mall food court.
