Christmas on the Country Music Highway Half Marathon

Course

Join us for the our Fifth Year Celebration by running what we hope will be a frolic through a winter wonderland. Course starts at the Johnson County Health Department running along Route 40 towards Martin County. Includes a double out and back loop of Ponderosa Drive (Island Creek). Entry Fees

Early Registration (Until July 31st) Half Marathon $40, 5K $20. Regular Registration (August 1st - December 4th $50, 5K $25. Race Day Registration (If Not Full) $60, 5K $30. Group Rates Ten or More get 20 percent off! Half Marathon capped at 300, 5K at 150. This cap is to ensure that we have the proper supplies and volunteer support not to limit the race. Depending on weather we usually register and run between 150 to 250 people.

Age Groups

Male and Female Divisions. Under 10, 11-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. Cash Purse for Half Marathon Overall Winners and registration into 2016 race. Age Group Awards in both races.

Awards

Unique and local crafted "artistic" awards for overall winners in both races, male and female division. Half Marathon Cash Purse, male and female division. $100 1st, $50 2nd, $25 3rd, plus entry into 2016 race. Amazing goodie bags. Custom unique finisher medals, cute t-shirts, hot chocolate and Christmas cookies at the finish line. This event is part of the Paintsville Christmas festival, so there are plenty of things going on this weekend. Bring the family along!
