Charity Information

One in three people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetimes, and the other two will know someone who is. We often show support for loved ones by wearing ribbons in colors that represent particular kinds of cancer. Although the type of cancer that affects each of us may be different, we are united in honoring and supporting people with cancer. The Colors of Cancer 5K Run/Walk is an opportunity to work together to build awareness, offer encouragement and raise funds to beat cancer. You’re invited to wear any and all of the colors of cancer (the wilder, the better) to the event to symbolize our unity of purpose and celebrate survivors. Proceeds from the race will be used to assist patients receiving care at the Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center. Funds may be directed to benefit patients receiving care for specific cancers by using the selections provided on the registration panel of this brochure. We thank you for gathering your family and friends and joining us and displaying the colors of cancer.

Early packet pickup for participants will take place from 5-7p.m., Friday, Oct. 2, in the entrance of the Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center on the campus of Cabell Huntington Hospital.

Pasta dinner provided for runners. $5 per guest.
