Defender Dash 5K Run/Walk

Course
The inaugural Defender Dash will be held on the Mayor's Fitness Trail located at the VA Park. The trail is asphalt and is a 1.5 miles long. The race will consist of a little more than two complete laps. The Kid's Fun Run will take place near the finish line after the 5K has completed at approximately 11am.
Entry Fees
Before March 1st $20 or $25 after.
Age Groups
Groups: 12 & under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+
Awards
Trophy for the top overall male and female finishers. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals for male and female of each age group. Race t-shirts will be guaranteed for all participants.
Charity Information
The proceeds of the Defender Dash will go to the benefit of Emmanuel Christian School (ECS). Founded in 1972, ECS has served North Central West Virginia by providing a Christian education from Pre-K through senior high.
