Awards
Awards will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers and the top three male and female finishers in each age division. Awards will also be given for most colorful and most creative attire.
Charity Information
Most people have been affected by cancer in some way. To show support of those fighting or remember those lost, it is common to wear a colored ribbon representing a specific type of cancer. Colors of Courage 5K participants are encouraged to dress in the color(s) they represent.
Although the color for each person may be different, the Colors of Courage 5K Run/Walk will unite all participants.
To honor those who have been lost to cancer, a balloon release will be held after the 5K Run/Walk. Balloons will be available for purchase. Cancer survivors will also be recognized.
Proceeds from the event will benefit underinsured patients of the Leonard Lawson Cancer Center.
