Course
Course: Course is flat with long straight-aways through downtown Ashland on city streets. Runners start and finish at the Boyd County Public Library, 1740 Winchester Avenue. (This is the Poage Landing 5K course.)
Entry Fees
5pm On-Site Registration 5K: $10 pre-registration fee if you have a Boyd County public Library Card. You can get this promotion if you pre-register at the library and show your card or sign up for a card. Non BCPL card holders pre-registration before April 24th is $15. Day of event $20. Pre-registered groups of 8 or more may register for $12 1.25 Walk: $8 pre-registered with library card, $10 pre-registered without library card and day of event. 1.25 mile (1 lap around park). Awards to 1st 5 finishers. No running or jogging
1.25 Mile Walk begins at 6pm
Age Groups
9 and under 10-14 15-19 20-24 25-29 30-34 35-39 40-44 45-49 50-54 55-59 60-64 65-69 70+ TECH Shirts to all 5K participants. Regular race shirts to pre-registered walkers
Awards
Trophies to first two overall male and female finishers. Awards to first three finishers in each male and female age group. No duplication of awards.
Major door prize ... 5K or 1 mile Walk ... A Kindle Fire
