Course

We will be using the  bear run course along the historic flood wall murals. Runners will begin near the Grant Bridge and follow the murals before looping around York Park and heading back to the finish line. 

Entry Fees

$20 for preregistration by August 1

$25 after August 1 and on race day

$10 for Kids Fun Run Ages 12 and Under

Registration will begin at 7 pm inside the SSU gymnasium.   Race admission includes the following:   free tshirt, free glow stick, and access to post race family friendly dance party.

Charity Information

100% of proceeds from this event will go to the Ohio River Valley chapter of the American Red Cross through the collaboration of Dr. Kemmely Hochstetler and Dancing With Our Stars.

As reflected in the Red Cross mission, the Ohio River Valley Chapter seeks to help people prevent, prepare for and respond to natural and other disasters through the immediate mobilization of people and resources and the provision of community, workplace and school-based training.

Beyond disaster relief, the Chapter delivers community disaster education, first aid/CPR, babysitting training, emergency communications for every person serving in the United States Military, and other types of lifesaving training to thousands of people.

We are here for our community whether it’s down the street, across the country or around the world.
