Course

This course features the wooded and scenic open fields of the Earl Thomas Conley Riverside Park, and will take you along the beautiful Ohio River banks while traveling the 3.1 miles of breathtaking countryside.

Entry Fees

  • First 40 Early Bird Special (first 40 registered or until May 22nd): $15, includes race registration and cotton t-shirt, upgrade to dri-fit shirt for only $5.00 more.
  • Pre-Registration Special (until June 16th): $20 includes race registration and cotton t-shirt, updgrade to dri-fit for just $5.00 more.  Or register for race only for $10.
  • Race-Day Registration: $15 without shirt, shirts will be available to order ($15 cotton t-shirt, $20 dri-fit)
  • School Team (coaches register 4 or more runners before June 16th): only $5 per student runner and cotton t-shirts for $8.00

Awards

The top male and female runners will be awarded a trophy, and award metals will be given to the 1st and 2nd place male and female finishers of each age division.

Charity Information

The Natural High 5K and Fitness Festival is a fundraising event to benefit the Summer Outreach Club, a 9-week summer day camp, free kids age 5- 12 in Scioto County and beyond. The camp offers free breakfast and lunch, and daily motivational, recreational and educational activities by partnering with community agencies and volunteers, who share hands-on learning activities, teach classes, mentor and support campers while they participate in park outings, library and museum visits, swimming and daily activities such as working in the community garden.

More Information

The Natural High 5K is the second part of the McChesney Ridge Arboretum Race Series.  This series will award local schools based on the performance of their in-school runners and alumni.  A traveling trophy will go to the winning school each year to be displayed in their trophy case.
