Course
The course is a 4 mile loop starting and finishing on US 34 in front of the Hurricane Middle School. Runners will race along historical Hurricane Mainstreet. The City of Hurricane will be providing the traffic control along the course. Additionally, members of the award winning Hurricane High School Marching band will provide music along the course.
Walkers will complete a two mile loop starting and finishing on US 34 in front of the Hurricane Middle School.

Finisher Medals for the first 75 finishers.

The Hurricane High School Band Boosters are hosting a race/walk on Tuesday, July 4, 2017, to raise money in support of the award winning Hurricane High School Marching Band. Over the last two years the Hurricane High School March Band has won over 15 Grand Championships. We are working with the City of Hurricane to ensure that this event is both the best and safest Fourth of July race in our area. We offer a unique race day experience. A professionally timed 4 mile road race and a 2 mile walk. Both runners and walkers will experience Hurricane High School Band members playing brass, wind and percussion instruments along our race course. We are also working with the City of Hurricane to have patriotic music playing on the Cities outdoor sound system as runners and walkers make their way down Main Street Hurricane. Having company sponsors are an integral part of putting on a successful event and we would love for you to consider partnering with us
