2nd Annual Run for a Goal

Course
Get ready for one of the best 5k races in the tri-state area. This race will start at the Yatesville Lake Marina and run the road to the dam. Along this route, the racers will pass some very scenic views overlooking the lake. Within the first mile you will have peaked the biggest hill in the race so you can prepare for a down hill run in mile two. At the two milemarker racers will enter the woods, for the trail run back to the finish line. This trail runs along the lake and has some beautiful scenery. Once the racers reach the end of the woods, you'll have a nice sprint back to the finish.
Entry Fees
$25 per racer before race day.
$30 per racer day of race.
$15 per racer for kids 10 and under
Shirts will be awarded to those who pre-register before May 1st. After that date there will be no guarantee for a shirt but we plan to have some extras ordered. Kids shirts are $5 and not included in the $15 youth race fee.
Age Groups
1st overall male and female will get a trophy. All age groups will be awarded 1st-3rd place medals. 10-under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. No duplication of awards. We will also be giving out prizes after the race.
Awards
Trophies for 1st overall for male and female will be awarded plus medals for winning age groups listed above!
Charity Information
LCYS is Lawrence County Youth Soccer. We are raising money for development of our fields and concession stand. All proceeds go to LCYS and we are non-profit.
LCYS strives to teach the game of soccer to kids of all ages and skill set. Even after 10 plus years we are all learning and having fun.
