Course

The course will run along what is also known as The Red Devil Hill 5K Challenge and is a 5 kilometer (3.1 miles) course starting and ending at Russell High School. 

Runners will race on the streets of Russell, KY 41169.

Runners will start in the parking lot on the right side of the high school. Runners will turn right onto Red Devil Lane then right again on Seaton Drive, right onto Cardinal Rd and down Cardinal Hill, right onto Kenwood Drive, around Bridges Christian Church, right onto Diederich Bouloevard, and right onto Red Devil Lane and up Red Devil HIll.  Runners will turn right into the parking lot on the left side of Russell High School (gymnasium side) finish near the back of the building. The course is flat in many parts, features a large downhill section, and challenges runners to conquer Red Devil Lane at the end before sprinting to the finish. The course is all sidewalk, closed, well marked with cones and signage, and will be monitored by the City of Russell Police Department, race workers, and volunteers.

Awards

Awards ceremony will be presented following the race at Russell High School.  Medals will be given to overall male and female, top male and female in each age division.
